“Where is Warrior?” Azizz was standing at the driver’s door of a large jeep parked on the opposite site of the rock pile the group had been standing on. He waited until the three of them had walked closer to his position and asked again. “Is Warrior coming? She’s still alive isn’t she? Who is the small boy?” Jesika was holding Agent 7c’s small hand as they climbed into the backseat of the vehicle.
“My weapon seemed to have had a run in with the law and she is rather spent from the ordeal. I suggest we drive around to pick her up. I put a lot of money into finding her, I wouldn’t want to lose my investment.” Shakoto climbed into the passager’s seat and glanced back at his sister. She was playing with a small game device as the child lay asleep atop her sweaty cleavage, but the child didn’t seem to mind. Jesika looked up and smiled at her brother, he smiled weakly in return, as Azizz climbed into his seat and began to drive around the large rock pillar.
A tall, thin man sat quietly in the dark; only the low picks of a guitar echoed from his ear phones. His music was much louder than it needed to be in order to hear music so close to his ears. It must have been a good song as he slowly blobbed his head to the bass he didn’t hear the man in a suit call for him from the door way.
“ZYTIER!” The man from the door way yelled again and Zytier slowly opened his eyes. His glowing blue eyes illuminated the dark room; tears fell from his blue eyes as he looked up. “YOU ARE WANTED ON THE BRIDGE!” The man yelled from the door way before walking away while throwing his arms upwards in frustration.
Zytier slowly stood up and adjusted his uniform before heading to the bridge; music still blasting loudly from his ear phones.
Today this happened, and I was happy.
I’m going to Phoenix Comicon are you?
I’m sure it is clear by now with the rarity of my posts, but just in case. I’ve actually ran into a block with my writing for the past few months. I can’t even review a loaf of bread let alone creative write. I kinda feel like an empty gas tank. I’m not sure where to obtain fuel for my hobby. I should have wrote down notes for my fragile cargo story so I could pick it back up where I stopped writing. Maybe I’ll get somewhere by editing the previous parts of the story. *crosses fingers* You can cross your fingers now. CROSS EM! Yeaaaaaaah. Crossed fingersssssexy.
The ground beneath Seven violently shook as if something was trying to punch over the pillar the three of them resided atop. Shakoto blew Jesika’s silver white hair out of his face as she quickly turned her head around. Seven leaned forward, looking passed his polished dress shoes and saw Agent 9c pinned against the rocks below as Warrior pummeled him like a sack of potatoes.
I’m on my way back to the campus; the computer lab to be exact. In my possession I have my little netbook and jump drive containing a movie I wouldn’t normally spend time watching. My iPod comes in range of the wireless and connects with a happy ringtone alerting me I’ve a text message. I make a tiny wish and hope it is from who I think it is.
“omw back to campus, finished with my sister’s hair.” I read Lisa’s text over twice as I sat on the floor of the computer lab. I was playing with the lab’s audio system for the projector. It at one point was working but stopped after the new projector was installed by a pair of monkeys. I knew where the problem was already and was working on plans B and C; I just didn’t feel like getting up yet. I was sitting comfortably as I thought about Lisa. I was remembering this morning in the library, our kiss or should I say, kisses. No matter how much I got of her it was never enough, but when I was with her it was always the perfect amount. This confused me and I stood up. This is only two friends watching a movie, I kept telling myself.
MARCH 2, 1904: DR. SEUSS BORN
On this day in 1904, Theodor Seuss Geisel was born. He would have been 108 today.
Most people know Dr. Seuss as the man behind The Cat in the Hat. But how many know that Yertle the Turtle was modeled after Hitler - or that Dr. Seuss created WWII political cartoons that denounced racism, isolationism and other issues of the day?
From 1941 to 1943, Seuss served as chief editorial cartoonist for the New York liberal newspaper PM, and his work commented on issues of the day. His political cartoons during World War II denounced isolationism, racism and anti-Semitism.However, in Dr. Seuss Goes to War, historian Richard H. Minear, writes: “…it is a surprise that a person who denounces anti-black racism and anti-Semitism so eloquently can be oblivious of his own racist treatment of Japanese and Japanese Americans…. to realize that the cartoonist is the same Dr. Seuss we celebrate today for his imagination and tolerance and breadth of vision: this is a sobering experience.”

my childhood.
It’s my typical nerdy Friday. Take the bus to the campus at 7am, drag my sleepy body to the library. Walk passed the Starbucks and remember why I don’t drink coffee from the scents that my nose ingest.
My memory fades so quickly nowadays. I remember this day starting as normal as ever, but ending extraordinary. Lisa and I had been texting back and fourth now for only a few weeks. I had already confessed to her that I was falling in love. She never exactly backed off from my romantic advances and we had already had our first kiss, in the campus library. I don’t remember how it came about but we decided to meet up in the library, as per usual. I remember telling her I was reading a book before a class and she wanted to study near me before her next class.
